Fri went to Choir practice. Wei Wei and Jeremy 'psycho' us to go JB on Sat.
At first we told them we can't coz both of us had an appointment at X-Style salon..
but somehow..they managed to 'psycho' us and Rachel.
Sat, initially meeting Rachel at Jurong East, 10am. However, i couldn't find my passport and spent quite some time seraching for it..so pissz..
Managed to reach JB at around 1pm..after which, Jeremy drove us to Grand Bluewave Hotel for Hi-tea. Not bad..international buffet..like the crepe with choco ice cream..yummy!
After a great hi-tea, we proceed to Holiday Plaza. I wanted to look for my D&D dress but din manage to find one. After tat, we went for RM 8 manicure..the staff there were not veri pro..coz the lady who did for me dun realli noe how to shape nails..and i had a cut. Through the chatting, i realized they were actually beauticians (who seldom do manicure) trying to push their facial and slimming package. After much persuasion, Sis bought their facial cum slimming package...hmm..can consider quite cheap compared to S'pore..well seems like we will haf reason to visit JB often..hehe..
At night, Jeremy brought us to JB pasar malam..interesting! The pasar malam there quite different also..they sell raw fish, vegetables and grilled chicken. We stopped at the fruit stall the longest..coz we took quite some time choosing the mangos. We also bought a package of Cai tao kway and half grilled chicken and had our dinner at a prata stall.
After the pasar malam tour, itz already quite late. So we decided to go Jeremy's house to stay overnight. His mum quite nice..shared with us some of her recipe in making chilli paste and tried her home-made otah..veri nice..
Dozed off half way when they are watching privated VCD...Eight Below..(so cute..can see pple walking up and down..and a towel covering the camera at times.)
On Sun, woke up at around 12 noon..washed up and went for Yong Tau Hu lunch with Jeremy's family. So paiseh..his dad treated us..and we forgot to thank him..opps..
Managed to rush back home at 4 plus. Washed up and went for Kate's wedding dinner at Furama Hotel. Ah Peng and I took a cab there. We went to her bridal room to look for her..room 1926... she's so lovely with her sexy wedding gown.
She had been complaining that things were quite rush for her during the preparation. Initially, they actually planned to haf their wedding in Jun...But unfortunately, her dad passed away at the beginning of the year. So according to some traditional chinese customs, they haf to get married within 100 days. We were quite sad when we were watching her ROM video..coz that time her dad was there to withness her ROM.
hmm..glad to see her happi smile again..and she is fortunate coz she had a nice and understanding husband...reminds me of the happy ending in faiy tales "...prince and princess living happily ever after..." realli envy her..and I started joking with Ah Peng to faster look for one too..keke..
Oh dear...a sudden sense of loneliness strikes me again...haha..
Meaning: Begin each day with a smile and you will bring smile to many people.
Today, we had a GM dialogue in the afternoon.
Initially, I thought that the session will be a long and boring one...but it turned out to be otherwise.
GM started with screening a very funny video...on a few customers being caught on camera when they tested on the "water bed"...and another cartoon on ants @ work.
After which he briefed us on some changes in the Club and re-emphasis on the core values and meaning of the logo to all staff.

He summerised the whole dialogue with this:
He ended the dialogue with the following four letters word:
L - Learn (skills & knowledge)
E - Experience & enjoy
A - Appreciate (Appreciate we have a job, appreciate our colleagues and friends, appreciate colleagues help etc.)
F - Fun (meaning have fun!)
Hmm...itz quite an unique way of conveying the message to us..meaningful too! And I remember it till now...keke..
